Valerie and Doug Richardson founded Long Beach Christian Fellowship in their home back in 1983. Valerie and Doug were married in 1978 and boast of two great sons, one wonderful daughter-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters and one amazing grandson with whom she could spend every moment playing.

Valerie came to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 20 years old. She experienced a powerful transformation that put her life on a new path. Since that day her passion has been to make a difference in the world by sharing God's love with others. Valerie earned her Master's of Divinity degree from The King's Seminary in 2004, receiving the Jack W. Hayford Chancellor's award for The Outstanding Graduate.

In addition to her pastoral leadership, she is also a certified trainer, coaching individuals towards the possibilities for transforming relationships in life, marriage, church and the corporate setting.
