Acts XXXIX: Disputed Matters and the Way of Unity
Some matters of faith are essentials, about which—in light of Scripture, tradition, and experience—there can be little disagreement. But Scripture also makes it clear there will be a vast array of issues about which followers of Jesus disagree. What do we do in the face of such disagreements? In this message, we explore the idea of disputable matters and (1) how to love each other for the sake of unity (which IS an essential of our faith) and (2) how focusing on the work of Christ can keep us from getting sidetracked from what is of utmost importance.
